Ultimate Desire

I have such an overwhelming urge to run off to some lovely, moderately priced rural community where I would have the time, the resources and the inspiration to create. I would be able to follow my design whims, take the time and actually see if they would pan out. I would also be able to afford a home to decorate and call my own.

I would paint, I would have all sorts of original gorgeous furniture and accessories and would have one of those gardens that is very planned but actually looks almost wild. This garden would produce things we could eat and the smells of produce and flowers would be heavenly.

Ok, I have visited my happy place....time to go back to work.

Lladro '07

I have always associated Lladro with my grandma. Recently while surfing the usual design blogs it seems that everyone is buzzing about this

amazing chandelier. This is most certainly not my grandmother's Lladro. The first time I saw it I was blown away, and then I went to the website and was pulled even further into the fantasy. It has fiber optics people....the fairies appear to come to life.....and it is a mere $90,000.00.....muahahaha. For that price the fairies better come to life.

After accepting the fact that I will never be the proud owner of the above chandelier I perused around their New Trends.

Who knew they made wedding crowns?

Or jewelry?

Or things that would look fabulous against my dark hair!?!

Artist: Ashley White Jacobsen

I am not a person who usually goes crazy for animals.....

but when the colors are vivid, the design is well done AND I feel like the bunny is giving me the stink eye frankly this equals love.

Yes folks, that is two bunny pics. There is more (not just limited to these captivating rabbits) that can be found in Ashley's Etsy shop.

While reading Pink Mohair I came across her review of Liz Hickok.

San Francisco

San Francisco Bay Bridge

With all the Jello that I consumed as a child why didn't I have this kind of vision?

Vintage Posters

In my quest to complete our apartments art collection I have recently been toying with the idea of vintage posters. Todays Ebay run down has produced quite a variety that caught my eye.

This was titled something like the Tree of British Rock.

I love the travel posters but I am only really interested in places that I have visited. That or a national parks vintage poster (my husband is a parks nut).

While not being an actual vintage poster I have just realized that most groups put out limited edition tour posters.

Artist profile: Erin Zamrzla

Luba - Out on a Limb Print

Because I am just recently overcoming my Etsy addiction there are a plethora of artists listed in my favorites, Erin is most certainly one of them. To look at more of her artwork go to her store or her blog. Her acrylic paintings stay in my head for days. The texture and vivid color coupled with the blunt black outline catches my eye.

Life goal #64 is to own an original.

Overstimulated WELCOME!!

Because there are too many beautiful/ interesting/ fascinating things that I come across and want to share I decided to start yet another blog instead of having these extensive mental lists along with massive favorites lists. None of my personal drama over here. This is my creative outlet. Enjoy!
